I’m just watching Keith Allen Will Burn In Hell on C4 and already it’s providing some good funny moments. The idea behind the program is that he’ll be visiting the Phelps a bit like Louis did a few months ago. Knowing Keith Allen it may be a little more explosive! Anyway, he started off with a vid that I’ve never seen before and thought was funny. Lo and behold, it’s on youtube! Here it is:
Hopefully the whole program turns up on youtube or Google, I’ll keep a lookout and post it for those that can’t get C4.

I thought that was funny as hell! I like Allen even more than I did previously, even if he has done some seriously poor crap (I’m thinking of World Cup songs here…) in the past.

I hardly ever watch TV but tonight is great, not only the C4 Phelps docu but Question Time as well. Boris Johnson (one of my fave politicians) on with a very drunk Chris Hitchens and his stupidly vacuous brother Peter. I’m watching the recording of it at the mo but it’s fun already
Chris Hitchens looks like he needs a cup of coffee
Hopefully the Keith allen docu will be up on the web shortly. It was very funny. I agree with you about that silly world cup song but he’s done a few good things.

just watched it- I love the way he wouldn’t back down- they should have sent him to do the scientology one

I’m just waiting for QT to come onto Replay here, if it does.
As much as I’m not a particular fan of the conservatives, or any politicians for that matter, I did read Johnson’s biography, and it was funny as hell.
I did see the first few minutes of QT (before KA came on) and (C) Hitchens’ appeared to be so… lachrymose. Perhaps being reunited with his brother was more than he could comfortably take, although, if he was sauced, that might be a better explanation.

@psychodiva
LOL! You’re so right!

Hitchens is always sauced
That’s a nice way of putting it! I’m amazed at how cool Keith Allen remained. He did go off once or twice but at one point I really thought he was going to punch someone.
BTW, QT is always available the next day on either the QT podcast (on iTunes) or on the BBC video/audio page:

Hmm, I didn’t know there was a QT podcast. Is there a video one, or is it just audio? I tend not to view or listen on the BBC site directly because I absolutely detest RealPlayer. Thanks for the tip about the podcasts.

Ah, so the link I just posted on your blog is of no use then
You can watch it in Windows Media on the site instead of RM if you switch the preferences. The Podcast is video, not just audio. I have to admit I tend to just watch it on the BBC site most of the time.

I’ll get the podcast. The BBC has limited options for Macs.
At 11:19 PM
I’m a Mac user too. I used to hate the BBC because they refused to support the Mac. I remember how bad it was in the OS9 days when they had limited audio but you couldn’t play a thing. Real Media have now released a newish plug in that allows RM to play nicely in Safari.
