There’s a great article up on Daylight Atheism entitled ‘Advice to a Christian’.

Good find of the original post too!

It’s always sad to see those that follow religion to enable them to live better and more full lives, being damaged the very thing that they believe will help them. This man obviously believes that following the teachings of his religion is more important than his private life, the health of his wife and the well being of his family.

When you truly believe that this life is just a stepping stone to another, then the result is that you fail to treasure what you have right now. I hope he takes some of the advice being given to him. I feel for his wife.
